“Beach Walk”
One of the first vacations Karen and I took together 29 years ago was to Kiawah Island, SC. Except the orange sea oats his is how I remembered the beach. Henri Matisse said there is no blue without orange so I made the sea oats orange to compliment the blue sky. Once I read what Matisse said I’ve always tried to get orange with the blues. Drives Karen crazy. Regardless, this painting makes a very nice print. Could be my favorite painting.
Original size 40”x30” oil on canvas. Original available. This Limited edition print comes printed on paper and canvas. The paper prints are double matted, sized to fit standard frames. The canvas prints are printed and stretched on wooden stretcher bars, also sized to fit standard frames.
